350th anniversary of Rhode Island's "lively experiment" in religious freedom
Shana Weinberg is the Manger of the Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice at Brown University where she helps develop programming and exhibits which explore historical forms of slavery and its legacy on our world today. Prior to this position, Shana worked at a number of institutions from a small historical society to a larger state museum where she served as a museum educator, developed public programming, and worked on online communications. Shana completed her Master’s at the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage at Brown. During her time in graduate school served as Producer and Project Manager for Rhode Island StoryCorps in partnership with WRNI, RI’s Public Radio Station.
