350th anniversary of Rhode Island's "lively experiment" in religious freedom
As part of the 350th Anniversary of the Colonial Charter, Governor Chafee’s Office, in collaboration with the office of Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis, opened the first-ever Visitor Center in the Rhode Island State House. The Visitor Center features a wide variety of books, photos, magnets, and other items that reflect the spirit of Rhode Island.
Take a peek inside with this quick video prepared by the Office of the Secretary of State:
The Visitor Center is open Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. It is located on the first floor of the State House, in Room 140, right next to the Charter Museum.
